ARYA 415 is a special design for ARYA Yachts, a new Italian boatyard. Our goal was to design a boat very competitive in IRC races, with all-around performance and be secure, stiff and also comfortable for pleasant cruising. With a parametric Cad 3D software every detail has been studied, analyzing the interior and exterior ergonomics, improving the weight distribution. During the development of this project an in-house FEA has been used to get a stiff and lighter structure that permit to increase the ballast weight. The hull shape come out after a complete VPP study using CFD software also to improve the appendages.The performances of the boat demonstrate that all the goals has been reached and confirmed by the good results during the most important regatta of the Mediterranean Sea.
