Maxi 11
The new Maxi 11 is a perfect fit. She is super fast, easy to handle and – even though you can sense her affinity to the Volvo Ocean Race Monsters and designed for IRC and ORC rules – she is surprisingly comfortable below deck.
Thirty-seven feet is enough to get standing headroom, nice saloon, a twin sink galley, spacious heads and shower compartment and quarters for 4 + 2 people.
So if you really enjoy high speed sailing in comfort and don’t mind irritating fellow sailors by leaving them behind while you manoeuvre your Maxi 11 at ease with a crew of one or two the new Maxi 11 is really for you.

MAT 10.10
M.A.T. and Mills Design have come together again for the M.A.T. 1010, with her aggressive design, gargantuan cockpit, well-balanced sail plan, and innovative hull is the outcome of the experience gained in IRC races. She makes cruisers jealous with her unorthodox interior layout, while presenting a challenge against the fleet with her outstanding performance.
Despite being a boat designed for racers, comfort and safety was not neglected, and her interior arrangement houses a full comfort equipment pack - making M.A.T. 1010 a real dual-purpose yacht.

Gunfleet 43
The Gunfleet 43 has her own unique style taking the balance between performance, sea keeping and comfort above and below deck to a new level for a yacht of this size. A modern outboard profile and sleek wrap-around windows disguise the fact that she has a centre cockpit configuration more often found on larger yachts.
The generous sail plan combines performance and ease of handling with a modern non-overlapping jib. When underway sails can be managed from the security of the cockpit with headsail furling and single line reefing for the mainsail. The ballast keel has a lead bulb for optimum performance and comfort. Optional shoal draft variants are available.
Below deck the collective experience of the Gunfleet team really comes into its own. The spacious stylish interior has been configured to work equally well in harbour or at sea. The saloon, galley and aft cabin are all exceptional for a yacht of this size. Detail is where the Gunfleet 43 really scores. The joinery will be built to a standard usually found on larger, premium quality yachts.

Superyacht Firefly the first in new F-Class series launched
Hoek Design in the Netherlands has announced the launch of Firefly, the first in an exciting new series of F-class one designs. Combining the spirit of the J-class with the performance of a maxi racer, the design brief for these race classics called for the smallest sized vessel that could beat a J on the water in both light and heavy winds.
With long overhangs and sleek lines, Firefly’s exterior styling is similar to Js such as Svea. A sweeping sheer with a flush deck and moderate deck camber echoes the look of yachts that were developed in the early 1930s. Below the waterline, however, she is more comparable to a modern maxi racer with a high aspect ratio, T-style fin keel with a lead bulb. The combination of a 5.2 m draft with a 3D-tonne lead bulb and carbon high aspect ratio spade rudder is exceptionally powerful. Nonetheless, Firefly can be effortlessly steered with two fingers.
The deck layout is comparable to a modern maxi with a large open cockpit and separate cockpit for the helmsman. On deck and in the interior, the yacht is developed as a pure sailing machine with a minimalist interior.

Dehler 41
The first launch of a new model is always an exciting moment for all who participated in the development. The boat builders, engineers, designers, managers and the customers as well.
Thursday May 12th showed to be a lucky day. The new Dehler 41, the second new model after the D 32 by Dehler Yachts after taken over by HanseGroup in 2009, had a perfect launch. After 2 hours of sailing the boat, Torsten Conradi of Judel/Vrolijk & Co remarked as well, “that she is stiff, well balanced and fast - just a perfect boat.”
The hull and rig design was optimised to fit into both measurement systems, IRC and ORCi.
The first two Dehler 41s, launched at the HanseGroup facilities at Greifswald, will now go through an extensive test and will be taken to racing events from their owners in the Netherlands and Sweden. Both boats are equipped with the deep racing keel of 2,40 m and a carbon rig offered by Dehler.

Grand Soleil 39
Cantiere del Pardo, builders of Grand Soleil yachts in Italy, has unveiled plans and drawings for the newest addition to the fleet, the Grand Soleil 39. The full size prototype has already been completed at the yard in Forli and hull number one is already out of the moulds and her fit-out is underway. The design the GS39 performance cruiser-racer has evolved from extensive research in to the IRC and ORC rules and builds on the proven racing success of the GS43 OT and the GS46. The Grand Soleil 39 is scheduled to be sailing on the Italian Riviera in the summer and her official launch will be at the Genoa Boat Show in the Autumn.
She features flush decks and hatches along with recessed roller furling for the non-overlapping headsail. She has an open transom, a large, ergonomic cockpit and twin wheel steering: a ‘first’ for a Grand Soleil of this size. This is a design feature which has proven practical and popular with both cruising and racing sailors alike on the GS43 and GS46. Below decks the GS39 offers the same interior volume as the GS40: eight berths in three cabins and the saloon, a classic ‘L’ shaped galley and an option for a second heads.
